Ryan Hovers Official Press Release – 8/26/08
This is an Official press release on the update and condition of Ryan Hover. Ryan was severely burned in a racing incident that happened at Glen Ridge Motorsports Park on Saturday Night 8/23/08.
I have spoke to Ernest Hover, Father of Ryan in depth today and I have volunteered my services to the Family of Ryan Hover as their Personal PR spokesperson and liaison. This way their Privacy will be protected, giving the family the time and space they need during this trying time. It also allows me to release the FACTS of this situation, not second hand information.This way there will be no RUMORS or media frenzy! As it has already started!
So from this day forward, anyone with official questions, comments or inquiries to Ryan’s Health and Progress reports may be addressed to me directly at

RYANS CURRENT CONDITION: Critical / Stable
Ryan is currently in an induced coma and on a ventilator. The reason for the induced coma is so it allows his body to begin healing without the horrific pain and shock to the body that is involved. Ryan’s arm is severely burned! To where there is no skin left!! On Friday they will bring him out of the coma to begin 18 hours of surgery and skin grafting to his arm. This will be a long series of surgeries to come. Ryan’s Face is also badly burned. Ryan was communicating through eyebrow lifts with yes or no questions up until yesterday.
I will report again as the family contacts me with updates in Ryans progress.
